William “BJ” Jenkins

William “BJ” Jenkins

William D. Jenkins, Jr., has served as a director of Generac since March 2017. Mr. Jenkins currently serves as President of Palo Alto Networks, a public cybersecurity company. Mr. Jenkins previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Barracuda Networks, a private network technology company from 2012-2021. From April 1998 to November 2012, Mr. Jenkins served in various roles, including president of the Backup Recovery Systems division, at EMC Corporation, an information infrastructure company. Mr. Jenkins holds a Bachelor of Science in General Engineering from the University of Illinois and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.

Mr. Jenkins brings to Generac extensive management and leadership experience gained in such senior roles as Chief Executive Officer for a public technology company. He currently serves as a director for Sumo Logic, a software analytics company, Skydeck Acquisition Corporation, a special purpose acquisition company, and Barracuda Networks. Mr. Jenkins has previously served on two public company Boards, Apgee Corporation (acquired by Google, Inc.), and Nimble Storage, Inc. (acquired by HPE).
 

Dominick Zarcone

Dominick P. Zarcone

Mr. Zarcone was elected to serve as a director of Generac in January 2017. Mr. Zarcone currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer and as a Director of LKQ Corporation, a global distributor of vehicle parts and accessories. Previously, Mr. Zarcone served as Chief Financial Officer of LKQ Corporation from 2015 until 2017. Between 1995 and 2015, he served in various leadership positions at Baird Financial Group, a capital markets and wealth management company, and certain of its affiliates, including most recently as Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer from 2011 to 2015. Prior to 1995, he was with the investment banking company Kidder, Peabody & Co., Incorporated, most recently as Senior Vice President of Investment Banking.  Mr. Zarcone earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.

Mr. Zarcone brings to Generac extensive management and leadership experience as a senior executive gained in roles as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of a public corporation, and over 25 years of expertise in investment banking and capital markets.

Bennett Morgan - Lead Director

Bennett J. Morgan - Lead Director

Bennett Morgan has served as a director of Generac since November 2013, and was elected as Lead Director in February 2018. Between 1987 and 2016, Mr. Morgan served in various leadership positions at Polaris Industries, Inc. (“Polaris”), including most recently as President and Chief Operating Officer from 2005 until his retirement in May 2016. 

Prior to joining Polaris, Mr. Morgan earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics from St. John’s University and his Master of Business Administration from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. Mr. Morgan brings to Generac extensive leadership skills, and over 25 years of expertise in international consumer durables products, dealer distribution, and product development and innovation in such senior roles as President and Chief Operating Officer.

Kathryn Bohl

Kathryn V. Bohl

Mrs. Bohl has served as a director of Generac since December 2016. Mrs. Bohl currently serves as a corporate director for The Jones Family of Companies, a private, family-owned manufacturer serving the mattress and janitorial industries, and on the board of Columbus McKinnon Corporation, a public company that designs and manufactures material handling systems. From 2005 to 2016, Mrs. Bohl served in various leadership roles at Sleep Number Corporation, including most recently as Executive Vice President and Chief Services and Fulfillment Officer. From 1983 to 2005, Mrs. Bohl held various leadership positions at General Electric (“GE”), including General Manager of Global Supply Chain Strategy for GE Healthcare. 

Mrs. Bohl graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University, and has over 30 years of extensive global general management, operations, supply chain, and services experience.
 

Erik Wilde

    Erik Wilde has served as our Executive Vice President Industrial, Americas since July 2016. Mr. Wilde was Vice President and General Manager of the Mining Division for Komatsu America Corp. from 2013 until he joined Generac. Prior to that role, he held additional leadership positions with Komatsu as Vice President of the ICT Business Division and Product Marketing back to 2005. Mr. Wilde holds a B.B.A. in Management from Boise State University and an M.B.A. from Keller Graduate School of Management.

      Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer

      Aaron P. Jagdfeld is Generac’s Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer. As the company’s third CEO since its inception in 1959, Mr. Jagdfeld has led Generac’s transformation from a manufacturer of backup generators and engine powered products into a global energy technology company with a strategy to Power A Smarter World.

      Mr. Jagdfeld became President in 2007, was appointed CEO in 2008, and named Chairman in 2016. Under his leadership, Generac has rapidly grown to a $4 billion company with a diversified portfolio of energy products and solutions serving consumers, communities, and businesses around the world. While Generac is still recognized as the market leader in U.S. home standby power, Mr. Jagdfeld has played a pivotal role in expanding the company into a global designer and manufacturer of energy technology solutions and other power products including clean energy, connected devices and industrial solutions.

      Prior to becoming Chairman, President and CEO, Mr. Jagdfeld worked in a variety of operational roles at Generac. He started at the company in 1994 in the finance department and was appointed Chief Financial Officer in 2002. Before joining Generac, Mr. Jagdfeld worked in the audit practice of the Milwaukee office of Deloitte & Touche. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

      Mr. Jagdfeld is a member of the board of directors at the Hillman Group, a leading North American provider of complete hardware solutions, and Milwaukee World Festival, Inc., a non-profit organization that is responsible for producing the Summerfest music festival on the shores of Lake Michigan in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
