Norman Taffe has served as Executive Vice President and President, Generac Home since February 2026. Prior to this role, he served as President, Energy Technology since August 2022. Before joining Generac, he was Executive Vice President, North America Residential of SunPower Corporation from 2018 to 2021, and Executive Vice President, Products and Vice President of Power Plant Products and Solutions from 2013 to 2018. He also worked in various engineering and marketing management capacities at Cypress Semiconductor from 1989 to 2012, including Executive Vice President, Consumer and Computation Devices from 2005 to 2012. Taffe holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and an Executive MBA from Harvard Business School.
